player name: ell
pronouns: they/them
age: 34
contact:
brutallyamish, brutallyamish (discord) or PM
active times/pace: EST, active sporadically during the day, more available on the weekend
bracket/prose: Preference is prose, but will match
backtagging: Always and forever
threadhopping: Depends. On text replies/memes, generally okay so long as it's not done maliciously and all parties are cool with it and the thread isn't marked private; on action/logs, generally no unless it's discussed beforehand
fourthwalling: Generally no. If this is your character's 'thing', feel free to reach out. I'm not comfortable with a character referencing me/the writers ever, but I can roll with canon puncturing maybe.
not interested in: Eating disorders, non-con, SA, mind control/compulsion, especially if it involves a sexual component (non/dub-con is a big no for me).

character: Alicent Hightower
canon point: Post–season 1, episode 5, after the wedding, before the time skip in ep6
age: 18
physical affection: Alicent has spent the majority of her childhood and young adulthood with a father who was not good at showing any kind of love, and "romantically", she is married to a man who is more than twice her age, so it's safe to say that Alicent is understandably reticent when it comes to touch and physical affection. It's translated into her struggling to be affectionate with those around her, too, as she's afraid to open up, ask for it, or express her love for those she cares about. So she will respond with awkwardness at best and annoyance at worst, especially with strangers, but if someone is patient enough, she'll get there. Because she is really starved for genuine affection, she just doesn't know how to admit that.
violence: Please no, unless there's no IC way to avoid it. Alicent has no training and while she will attempt to use anything around her to defend herself, it won't go particularly well.
relationships: While technically married, Alicent has no real love for her husband. She does what she needs to and what is expected of her, but if she loves anyone, it's her children (and yes, I will fight anyone who says otherwise; was she the best mother? No, but she does love them and care about them. It's just hard to show love when she has no good, healthy role models for it and the world is unforgiving and cruel. Anyway.) I'm not particularly interested in shipping with Alicent, given her history, but I'm open to building real friendships with her and also working on any relationships with her family (though her father is up in the air).
psychic info: Alicent doesn't have barriers or powers here to speak of, but for anyone who does try to access her thoughts or memories, be prepared for a lot of anxiety and trauma, as one would expect from a woman in a world as violent and unforgiving as Westeros. Keep in mind that she also will not take well to anyone violating her privacy. For surface level reading (anything in the introspection in prose, or in brackets), I'm okay with a character picking up on; for anything deeper (including memories, motivations, etc), please reach out.
magical info: No ability or sensitivity here, nor does she have any defenses against it. Alicent doesn't even really believe in magic, so seeing a lot of this will be new to her.
physiological info: Aside from some scars around her fingers and in other, easy to hide areas, Alicent is a perfectly healthy woman of eighteen.
ic offensive subjects: Alicent was a child bride who had her first child at fifteen, she also has a history of self-harm and anxiety. The general world for HotD features a great amount of violence, incest, and other heavy themes. Alicent won't necessarily get into them at every opportunity, but they are a part of her world and will likely come up, as will the fact she is barely 18 with three children. Please feel free to use this post as an opt out for this character, but also know that I'm not interested in debating whether she and the rest of the Greens are "bad" and the Rhaenyra and the rest of the Black team are "good".

appearance: Slight and standing at 5'4", Alicent does her best to try to take up the space she's meant to as a queen of the realm when what she would prefer to do is shrink back into her books. She has taken to wearing a lot of green of late, especially after her once-best friend's wedding, and prefers that to Targaryen black and red. Her long, amber hair is naturally curly, and her eyes are a warm brown. She's not overly fond of jewelry but wears what she's expected to, though she does always have a star of the Seven she wears.
voice: Soft-spoken and gentle, Alicent can and will be firm when she needs to be. She speaks with an accent reflecting her status as a Lady-turned-Queen, very typical of the upperclass within King's Landing which is where she grew up. She's very well-educated and that shows in her word choice.
scent: Floral, bergamot, citrus, hair oil, and a slight tang of blood (as it's common for her to pick at her fingers until they bleed).
demeanor: Patient, reserved, and almost haughty or prudish, though there is also a gentle, motherly quality that sits just underneath the surface. Alicent is very lonely and it sometimes shows on her face, but she is careful not to let her emotions show, so sometimes it's difficult to get a read on her. If someone looks closely enough, they can see the way she picks at her fingers and that she is incredibly tense and anxious.

gender: Cis-woman
pronouns: She/her
sexuality: Lesbian (closeted)
absolute yes: Rhaenyra
maybe: Open to other HOTD muses and cross-canon (but reach out first)
absolute no: Viserys (not sorry)
interests: Alicent is not really looking for or interested in a relationship, despite her marriage being arranged and purely not pleasurable for her in any way. Any man attempting to seduce her is going to get polite reminders that she's married, and any woman is just going to make her flustered. Alicent needs friends. Please someone help this poor girl.
not interested in: CNC/dub-/non-con, and enthusiastic consent is required for all parties.
